On 8 July we experienced a very special day at the Sala Polivalent d’Andbank. At Vesmar Projects, we organised the event under the motto “Construïm el futur en fusta” to share our vision of sustainable construction and the potential of buildings made with cross-laminated timber (CLT) with the Andorran market.
During the session we explained why we believe in high-quality wood as an efficient, responsible solution aligned with the new challenges of architecture. For us, CLT is a real alternative to traditional materials: it helps reduce the carbon footprint, makes it possible to optimise execution times and delivers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation for the spaces of today and tomorrow.
The event was held with the collaboration of Grup Boix, Grato, Visendum and Proinnovate Group, leading companies that enriched the conversation with their expertise in forest management and the development of premium materials. Together, we presented a way of building that is more conscious, innovative and ready to respond to the real needs of the territory.
One of the aspects we value most is the excellent response from professionals across Andorra. Architects, builders and developers actively took part in the final networking space, where we were able to exchange views, discuss the feasibility of these projects in the country and share ideas on how to promote a more circular, healthier and more sustainable construction model in Andorra.
